Founded in 2014, Kate Oates Yoga was born after the transformational effect it had on my own ill health in 2012. Previously an avid runner & boxer, yoga helped me recover from debilitating post-viral ME.
My tiny yoga business is small but has since grown into Kate Oates Elevate, combining Yoga with Professional Life & Leadership Coaching
When in yoga pants, I teach weekly group classes, 1:1 tuition in the North, & have previously run retreats, workshops, workplace yoga & corporate events in London.
I am an accredited Senior Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance UK, I specialise in Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Rocket Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga & Yoga for Sport & Athletes.

I am a runner, a Mum & an M.E-recoverer who found yoga in 2012 after glandular fever & post-viral-fatigue. Previously a fitness fanatic & marathon runner, yoga was pivotal in my recovery.
I started teaching in 2013 in London & moved to MCR in 2018.
I am a Senior Registered Yoga Teacher (SRYT)
which means I have taught over 4,000 hours of yoga & done annual accredited teaching & training for 12 years! I am certified, accredited & insured with Yoga Alliance UK in Vinyasa Flow & Modified Ashtanga yoga, Rocket Yoga & Pregnancy yoga.
I also specialise in Yoga for Sports & Athletes.
I have worked in Communication Planning & Leadership for 19 yrs.
I have combined-type ADHD.
